Scoping Workshop, March 2022 (American Society of International Law Annual Meeting)

Participants in the first SAILS meeting in 2022 joined from Cornell University, Duke University, Harvard University, King’s College London, Oxford University, Rutgers University, the University of Arizona, the University of California – Hastings, the University of California – Los Angeles, the University of Georgia, the University of Miami, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Virginia, the University of Wisconsin, and Yale University.

Authors’ Workshop, April 2023 (Georgetown University Law Center)

On April 1, 2023, authors presented the first set of SAILS essays with comments from peer commentators and student editors.  These essays  will be printed in a special joint symposium edition of the Yale Journal of International Law, the Virginia Journal of International Law, and the Georgetown Journal of International Law.

Ideas Workshop, May 2023 (Peace Palace Library, The Hague)

On May 9, 2023, the Asser Institute and Peace Palace Library hosted a SAILS workshop involving researchers based in Europe.  Colleagues reviewed and commented on draft research ideas.
